CONVENER
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATE
1. The Candidate is advised to visit the Test Centre one day before to get acquainted with the exact location of the Test Centre and time of travel.
2. The Date & Time of TS ECET - 2021 is 03-08-2021 (Tues day) from 9.00 AM to 12.00 NOON / 3.00 PM to 6.00 PM in ONLINE mode only. The medium of test will be in English only. The Candidate is required to report at the Test Centre by 07.30 AM/ 1.30 PM on the day of test as the candidate has to undergo the verification process as it takes considerable time to complete the Registration process. The candidate who will come early will have the advantage of starting the test in time and no additional time will be given in this regard and the test will be closed sharp by 12.00 NOON/ 6.00 PM
3. Hall Ticket shall be produced at the entrance of the Test Centre and also in the Examination Hall, failing which the candidate will not be allowed to attend the test. Candidate will be permitted for the examination only after their credentials are verified by the Test center officials.
4. The Candidate must ensure that he / she is allotted the branch of specialization of test as per the eligibility. Discrepancy, if any must be brought to the notice of the Convener on or before 03- 08- 2021 at 9059273639.
5. Candidates shall carry into the examination hall (i) Black/Blue Ball Point pen (ii) Hall Ticket and (iii) Filled in Online Application Form (Caste certificate in case of SC/ST category, if he/she has not furnished the caste certificate number at the time of submission of Online Application Form).
6. The candidate should return the (i) duly completed “Filled in Online Application Form and (ii) Booklet used for Rough work before leaving the Examination Hall. Failure to do so will make him / her liable for punishment as per norms.
7. Complete the Filled in Online Application Form by affixing latest photograph duly attested by a Gazetted Officer / Principal of the College where the candidate has studied last and it should be handed over to Invigilator after signing in the presence of Invigilator. Otherwise, the candidate’s result will be withheld.
8. Carrying of Calculators, Mathematical / Log Tables, Pagers, Cell Phones, Wrist-watches or any other Electronic Gadgets and personal belongings into the examination hall is strictly prohibited. In case, the candidate carries any personal belongings, he / she has to keep outside the examination hall at candidate’s own risk. The authorities of the test center will not be responsible for any loss or damage of such items.
9. Candidates are not allowed to bring loose sheets/blank papers into the Examination Hall for the purpose of rough work. Booklet for Rough Work will be provided in the Examination Hall. Candidates are required to fill the necessary data in the space provided in rough work booklet before using it. Candidate must handover this booklet to the invigilator before leaving the Test Centre/ Examination Hall after the end of the examination.
10. All the Entries on Booklet supplied by the Convener for the purpose of rough work must be filled correctly. If the candidate writes any irrelevant matter, symbols, religious marks, prayers or identification marks on any part of Booklet used for Rough Work, it will be treated as Malpractice.
11. The candidate will not be allowed in to the Examination Hall after 9.00 AM / 3.00 PM (even if LATE BY A MINUTE) and also will not be allowed to leave the examination hall till the END of the Examination (i.e., 12.00 NOON / 6.00 PM) under any circumstances.
12. The check-in procedure inside the Examination Hall includes capturing of personnel identification data. This procedure is mandatory to allow the candidates into the Examination Hall. Therefore, the candidates are advised to avoid applying any external designs/patterns like Mehandi, Ink etc. on their hands and keep their hands clean and neat
13. Follow the instructions announced by the invigilator carefully. No clarifications or doubts related to the questions of examination will be entertained during the examination. If you face any hardware or software problems with the computer system provided, the same may be informed to the invigilator for rectifying the problem immediately. In case the problem is not rectified within the reasonable time, another computer system will be provided. The time lost for changing the system will be compensated.
14. Adoption of any kind of unfair means and any act of impersonation at the time of test will invalidate his / her performance in the test. Further he/she will forfeit the claim of appearing for the test and will make him/her liable for criminal action.
15. Issue of Hall Ticket and appearance at the test does not automatically entitle the candidate for admission into a College.
16. The candidate is required to bring at least one valid original photo identification (not photocopied / not scanned copy). Acceptable forms of photo identification are limited to College ID Card / Aadhaar Card / Driving License / Passport / PAN Card / Voter ID.
17. The Candidate should also sign on the Hall Ticket in the presence of Invigilator.
18. Hall Ticket must be preserved till the time of completion of admission process.
COVID-19 Specific Special Instructions to the Candidate
1. Candidates must maintain social distancing starting from point of entry in the exam venue till his/her exit from the exam venue. Candidates need to follow directions given by representatives & need to stand in the circles drawn at the entry points.
2. Candidates experiencing cough, cold, sneezing, fever etc must inform well in advance to the authorities at the Test Center so as to make necessary arrangements.
3. Candidate must bring their own face Mask and a ballpoint pen. He/she may also bring vinyl gloves, personal hand sanitizer (50ml), face shield and transparent water bottle. No other items will be permitted inside exam venue.
4. The candidate should bring a signed declaration to this effect (declaration is provided along with Hall ticket Card) and show the same to the Security Guard at the entry into the exam venue and submit it to the Invigilator.
5. Temperature of candidates will be checked at the entry to the exam venue via a Thermo Gun.
6. Mapping of ‘Candidate Roll Number and the room/hall/Lab Number’ will NOT be displayed outside the exam venue, but the same will be provided to the candidates individually at the time of entry of the candidate to the exam venue and after their Hall ticket and ID verification
7. At registration desk, the candidate will be directed to sanitize his / her hands using provided sanitizer. Photograph will be captured during the registration process.
8. No waiting place will be provided to the accompanying persons at the test centers.
